Barcelona wins the Uefa Champions League

Uefa Champions League 2009: at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome Barcelona wins the final for 2-0 against Manchester United and gains the Champions League Cup, a title that is worth 100 million euros.

Ferguson tries Park on the right supporting Cristiano Ronaldo in the center. On the other side Messi plays central forward with Eto’o on the right and Henry on le left side. The first 8 minutes are a nightmare for the guys coached by Pep Guardiola. Ronaldo shoots three times in the first minutes, Valdes saves the goal. After 10′ everything change: Iniesta converges to the center and passes to Eto’o. The african player skips over Vidic and beats Van der Saar. After the goal Manchester disappears. Barcelona got an impressive ball control. Messi seems to be untouchable; Ronaldo is alone, Rooney confused, Park non-existent.

The second half starts with a substitution: Tevez in, Anderson out. Manchester tryes a reaction, but after 3 minutes is Henry who waste a great occasion. Three minutes later Tevez touch Iniesta just outside the area, that’s a free kick! Xavi tries and take the goalpost. At 66′, after part of a match controlled by Barca, Ferguson makes another risky substitution: Park out for Berbatov. Manchester wants the goal: 4 forwards in the field. But Barcelona at 69′ overwhelms the Red Devils. Xavi serves Messi that score by head. 2-0 for Barcelona that controls the game for the rest of the time.

Great victory for Barcelona. A team with a perfect technic and a deadly attack. Great words of Guardiola at the end of the match: he spent his appreciation for Paolo Maldini.
