Champions League, return match of semifinals: Barcelona equalizes the result against Chelsea in the last minutes and reaches the Final of Rome 2009. A lot of referee’s mistakes weigh on the match.

Chelsea – Barcelona: at the Stamford Bridge, Guardiola has to give up to Henry, injured. The Blues coached by Guus Hiddink has a good start. The ball possession is definitely in favour of the blaugrana, but Chelsea is more perilous in the break back. At 9′ the goal of Chelsea advantage: Lampard tries to cross from the left, Toure diverts and serves involuntarily an assist for Michael Essien. Great left running kick outside the area and scores a great goal. Barcelona controls the game but it is not dangerous and leaves spaces to Chelsea. Drogba wastes an opportunity alone against Valdes. Also John Terry tries with the head, but the ball goes outside. In the second half Chelsea control the game and wastes a lot of opportunities. Valdes saves first from a kick from Drogba (served by Anelka) with a miracle, then from a Malouda’s shot. At the 65′ the referee Ovrebo send off (unfairly) Abidal. The he denies two penalties to Chelsea, one of them absolutely clear for a handball of Piquè. Chelsea wastes a lot and seems just to wait the end. But at 93′ Lionel Messi squared to Iniesta and he cut his shot skilfully away from Cech. Great shot and goal that equalizes the result. The match ends 1-1 let Barcelona to reach the final of the tournament, even if undeserved.

Everything decided, The Final of Champions League 2009 in Rome will be a great match between Manchester United and Barcelona.
