FC Shakhtar wins the last UEFA Cup

Thanks to a goal of Jadson in the first of the two overtimes, the Shakhtar beats the Werder Bremen and wins the last UEFA Cup.

Istanbul: 2-1 is the final result of the last UEFA Cup final. Shaktar wins the cup, beating the Werder Bremen thanks to a goal during the overtime. The Ukrainian team started the match with a goal of Adriano Luiz (at 25′ minute). Werder Bremen reacts immediately and equalizes with a penalty shot of Naldo 10 minutes later, thanks also to an error of Pyatov. The Shakhtar’s goalkeeper didn’t stop the ball accurately.

During the second half nothing particular happened. In Werder Bremen the absence of Diego is too important, and the team doesn’t express a good game.

Overtime: at the 97′ Shakhtar changed the destiny of the match. Srna cross to the center, Naldo looses Jadson that scores. Again, a goalkeeper error is decisive for the result. In the last minutes Werder tryes to score, but the match finishes 2-1. Shakhtar has won the last UEFA Cup.
