Serie A: Juventus won against a well organized Lazio in the early kick off of the Serie A’s day 3. A weak Milan reached only the draw at Livorno.
A good match for Juventus, even if completely different from the one of the last week. For the first time this year Trezeguet started the match in the line-up together with Amauri. Legrottaglie took the place of Fabio Cannavaro. First match in Juventus for the national defender Grosso.
Juventus had a good start, even if Trezeguet is not at the top. But Lazio was well prepared to defend against Bianconeri. Juventus and Lazio had both good chances to score, but the goalkeepers Muslera and Buffon did a good job.
At the end of the first half a not excellent Diego was substituted by Giovinco for a muscolar problem.
The second half started well for Lazio, who had few occasions to score. Ferrara tried to change something in the midfield who is not very reactive. In Tiago – Out Camoranesi. At the 72nd minute a suffering Juve tried to make the result and reached the goal with Caceres, the defender from Barcelona, after a very well orchestrated play of the team. 1-0 for Juventus that came back in Lazio box few times, thanks to excellent plays of Giovinco. The last minutes are a runway for Marchisio (best player of the match) and the first goal of the season for David Trezeguet.
In the other match of the day Livorno and Milan didn’t score. This draw is a bad news for the Berlusconi’s team, who is definitely not competitive this year.
