Official FIFA World Cup 2010 Theme Song

2010 World Cup South Africa: "Wavin' flag" will be the song chosen from FIFA for the next World Cup. A song with an easy lyrics and an african rhythm, with a beautiful message of fraternity, as this competition wants to be.

The song has been written by K'Naan, rapper originally from Somalia but that lives in Canada. K'Naan will sing the song together with the spanish musician David Bisbal. The african rapper had already published the song in his last album "Troubadou". The song has been modified in the lyrics and the rhythm to make it more adequate to the Football Competition.

We are sure that this song will be sang by everybody whithin one month. Even in the previous editions the World Cup theme songs became smash hits: do you remember "La Copa de la Vida" by Ricky Martin for the 1998 World Cup, or "Boom" by Anastacia in 2002 or, especially for the italian, "Notti Magiche" sand by Gianna Nannini and Edoardo Bennato for the 1990 World Cup in Italy.

UPDATE: reading the list of the songs in the World Cup album "Listen Up!" we have seen that Waving Flag is not the official song of the FIFA world Cup 2010. The official song is "Waka Waka" from Shakira, while the official Anthem is "Sign for a Victory" singed by R. Kelly, featuring the Soweto Spiritual Singers.

K'Naan' song is, honestly, much better than the previous listed. However it seems that Coca-Cola launched the song and sponsored it.
