UEFA Champions League final: Manchester – Barcelona line up

Uefa Champions League 2009: tonight the Manchester United and Barcelona are going to contend, at the “Stadio Olimpico” in Rome, the European Champion title in the Champions League final 2009.

The challenge between the two best team of Europe could be compared to a chess game between the veteran Alex Ferguson and the young Pep Guardiola. The two coaches are going to face disqualifyes and injuries.

Ferguson must renounces to Fletcher (red carded in the semifinals against Arsenal), while Rio Ferdinand is in question, but the Red Devils’ captain will probably play.

Guardiola has several problems: Abidal e Alves had two yellow cards, Marquez is injured. Yaya Tourè is going to play in defense. Also Andres Iniesta, the author of the goal against Chelsea, is in doubt. It is so hard to think that the player will give up the final, but he is not at the top. Confirmed Henry.

* Manchester United: Van der Sar, O’Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Park, Carrick, Anderson, Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez.
* Barcellona: Valdes, Puyol, Pique, Toure, Sylvinho, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Henry, Messi, Eto’o.
