UEFA Europa League draw: round of 32 2009/2010

Europa League 2009/2010: with the end of the group stage of the former UEFA Cup and Champions League, the knock-out rounds start.
Today, December 18 2009, in Nyon, Switzerland, the UEFA did the draw of the 32 teams that are going to meet in the next round of the first edition of the Europa League, whose final will be hosted by the Hamburger Stadium on May 12, 2010.
Here are the draw results:
* Ajax – JUVENTUS
* Lille – Fenerbahce
* Hamburg – PSV Eindhoven
* Hertha Berlin – Benfica
* Fulham – Shakhtar Donetsk
* Panathinaikos – ROMA
* Villarreal – Wolfsburg
* Twente – Werder Bremen
* Everton – Sporting Lisbona
* Bruges – Valencia
* Copenaghen – Olimpique Marseille
* Atletic de Bilbao – Anderlecht
* Liverpool – Unirea Urziceni
* Rubin Kazan – Hapoel Tel-Aviv
* Standard Liege – Salzburg

The list of the 32 teams qualified to the round:
* Pot 1: Anderlecht, Valencia, Lille, Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Sporting Lisboa, Roma, Galatasaray, Salzburg, Fenerbahce, Benfica, Shakhtar Donetsk, Atletico de Bilbao, PSV Eindhoven, Werder Bremen, Unirea Urziceni, Juventus, Wolfsburg, Olympique Marseille.
* Pot 2: Ajax, Lille, Hamburg, Hertha Berlino, Fulham, Panathinaikos, Villarreal, Twente, Everton, Bruges, Copenaghen, Atletico de Madrid, Liverpool, Rubin Kazan, Standard Liege.
The rule of the draw are the following:
* Can’t play two teams of the same nation.
* Can’t play two teams that come from the same group of the UEFA Europa League.
* The best four from the Champions are in the Pot 1 (Juventus, Wolfsburg, Unirea Urziceni, Marseille).
* The teams in the Pot 2 will play the first match at home.
