The 2010 World Cup in South Africa will be the 19th edition of the most important football competition; the first real World Cup took place in 1930 in Uruguay, where the National Team who hosted the competition won it. After 1930 the World Cup took place every 4 years (usually in June) with a break from 1938 to 1950 due to the Second World War. On July 11th 2010 we'll see which team will win the 19th most prestigious trophy. Brazil is the most successful team. The land of the greatest players of all time owns 5 titles; follow Italy with 4 titles and Germany with 3. Argentina and Uruguay have 2 success and England and France 1.
